How children show affection to their pets

Many times we have seen how children show their affection for pets, and these, often flee in terror from the little ones, because the children have no control of the force they execute and may be doing them more harm than anything else.

Particularly, the last time we could see him, was with the daughter of a companion who took his kitten, the poor cat was always supported by the neck or grabbed and dragged by the tail. And, a two-year-old girl does not understand the evil that can be caused to an animal when what she wants is to show her how much she loves him.

In addition, when children are treated with love and feel safe, hugs are the answer to their feelings, just as they hug their teddy bear or their dolls, it's like they hug their pet, no measure of the love they process. As parents, we must teach our children from small that animals feel and respond as they are treated, we must explain that a stuffed animal is not the same as an animal, the first has no life, does not feel or suffer, but animals do, and you have to respect them, take care of them and give them affection, but in order for the pet to perceive it as such.

We must teach them the measure of their actions towards the pet, and explain to them, that when it emits a shriek, it is that it is tightening more than it can tolerate.
