Today I bring you as recommended and fun reading "Dad, the child is also yours", by Javier Serrano. The author defines it as "the closest thing to an instruction manual, to a practical guide, to a salvation chart" for first-time parents.
And although he points out that the work is mainly addressed to them, to parents (although not exclusively), I can say that since my reading I have enjoyed, I have laughed a lot and I have been reflected as a mother (and reflected to my father) and identified in Many occasions.
It is what you have, it is not a medical work or based on theories, but a fun guide that narrates the experience of a first-time father and that ranges from conception and pregnancy to the baby's first words and the desire to have another child.
Of course, there is an impact on the title: the baby is also from the father, and the great involvement and effort that the adventure of fatherhood requires is continually remembered, showing continuous support in and for the mother.
I assure you that you will be reflected in the experience, hyperbolized at times, but realistic, narrated through an agile and fun prose, with much love and, how could it be otherwise, dedicated to the author's children.
Because we have all been clumsy, we have been afraid, from the nausea of pregnancy to the first diaper change or the first clothes, we have all asked ourselves about the secret of the pacifier or the magic of the controls, we all pass by, and It's good to see how other parents go through the same thing, and, most importantly, survive it.
