How carbonated drinks affect

You still have time for your child not to prefer soda with gas to any other beverage. Possibly it will not take long to meet them, when you go out to eat outside, on the birthday of a friend, etc. But keep in mind that the later you try soda with gas, the less you consume, because we already know that in the long term or maybe not so long, it can have negative consequences such as obesity, calcium and iron deficiency, tooth decay, etc.

Caries appear more and more frequently in the first dentition and this seriously damages the definitive dentition. In addition the soda pop they do not provide any nutrient, only empty calories and in a fairly high amount. It should also be added that the gas produces a certain gastric distension, so that appetite decreases giving way to a lower consumption of foods that are necessary for health and often causing abdominal pain. Soft drinks with gas are often accompanied by unhealthy foods, such as fast food, fried snacks ... which, in addition to not being well fed, increases the risk of obesity.

Cola drinks are also added with caffeine, which usually comes from the extract of cola nut, a tropical fruit that contains that exciting substance, which also affects many children, and phosphoric acid. This acid reduces calcium absorption, thereby losing part of this nutrient so important in your bone development.

But all these cons that provide drinks with gas, do not imply that your child "can" never drink a soda, like many foods little advised, can be taken sporadically.
