I World Congress on Education for Children for Peace

The next April 20 will begin on I World Congress on Education for Children for Peace organized by the World Association of Infant Educators. For three days, conferences, dialogues will be held in the Congress Palace of Albacete and experiences will be shared on the importance of primary education as a fundamental factor in the other educational systems.

The first school stages of children are fundamental and it is necessary that teachers and educators have at their disposal all the necessary weapons to guarantee an adequate development in children loaded with values, concepts or modes of behavior that are in accordance with the peace and always making a total rejection of violence. It is necessary to avoid at all costs that our children live in a culture in which values such as contempt or violence are found, we see them daily in the news. Below we show some of the objectives that have been marked in this event:

“• Claiming Early Childhood, Initial or Preschool Education to support the educational systems and their first link. Only with an education from early childhood will we achieve a world in peace.

• Highlight the stage of initial and preschool education as the ideal for the achievement of a harmonious personality in children as well as that education in values must begin early as they are formed at that age.

• Make available to teachers educational and methodological procedures that allow them to form in children rules, values, concepts and behavior towards the assumption of peace and the rejection of violence as essential components of their personality. We propose a continuous habituation in children that conditions any action in the future, a transfer of values that remains over time, which lasts throughout the entire vine.

• Appeal from the City of Albacete, to the entire world that only with an education for all, quality, inclusive and full of values in the broad sense of the word value, can a better world be achieved.

• Urge the Supranational Institutions and especially the Governments of the World to allocate resources and mobilize the necessary wills so that all the children of the world, without distinction, for reasons of race, color, sex, language, religion, origin national or social, economic position, birth or any other condition, finally have the quality education they deserve for the mere fact of being children from the moment of birth. ”
