Effective measures that enhance birth in a Valencian town

One of the initiatives to increase birth rates in a Valencian town has been truly effective. The mayor of the town of Algar del Palancia did not want his town to end up disappearing, the first obvious sign of the situation appeared 7 years ago, when he decided to close the school due to the lack of children.

Then he decided to resort to an initiative that has allowed 34 children to be born in the course of these 7 years, thus swelling the list of citizens and avoiding the closure of schools thanks to the fact that the town presents a child population that can support the facilities of This year they have 38 enrolled. The initiative was to reward each birth with 700 euros and a lot of gifts that included the baby's trousseau, such as the stroller or the cradle among others. The necessary requirements that the city council requested were that the couples be registered in the town with an age of at least two years.

In addition, they already have three pregnant women from the town who will give birth this year. This action shows that if the measures taken by the government were as sharp as those taken by a locality of 500 inhabitants (in the appropriate proportion), the low birth rate would be historical news.
