Highlights in Babies and more: February 9-15

As every Monday we review highlights of the last week in Babies and more.

We are approaching one of the celebrations that amuse the little ones (and I would almost say the parents too), the Carnival and that is why from Babies and more we are offering some resources and ideas for parents.

We have shown some carnival costumes for the kids, the option to get them cheaply in Carrefour and the possibility of putting our children on our own in Books and face makeup set for children.

Regarding pregnancy and pregnancy we have known the crucis route that often involves the search for a baby in Infertility ends up causing psychological problems, we discover that obesity during pregnancy doubles the risk of spina bifida in the baby and that being a father after 40 increases the risk of psychiatric diseases in children. In this same line we have known that working in shifts is a risk in pregnancy, that smoking in pregnancy affects the thyroid, we have known that our ancestors gave birth with less pain and Mireia has brought us a complete analysis of the situation in reference to Down syndrome at birth with Down syndrome

About babies we have talked about a recurring but very important issue such as the magical effect of the kangaroo method, we have explained what is the fetus lanugo, we have listed the symptoms of diabetes so that parents know a little more about this disease, We have talked about how incredibly developed babies have in the smell of baby and the smell of a mother and we discover that babies who gesture develop a greater vocabulary.

In the section of tips and recommendations, from Babies and more we have commented solutions to the dry skin of our little ones in Dry skin in the baby: what to do ?, some tips to make better photos in Being a dad.

Entering the issue of feeding babies we have seen a video explaining how to extract and store breast milk in addition to knowing in a very complete post what are the keys to successful breastfeeding. We have also known a more concrete vision of a resource that should be more monitored in the feeding of babies such as soy milk for infants.

Finally we have collected news of society that, lately, are being somewhat surprising. Following the "case" of the mother who had small triplets we have seen some impressive photos of the mother's pregnancy, we have met one of the youngest parents in the United Kingdom and the birth of triplets in Madrid at 36 weeks gestation.
