Casa del Libro celebrates Book Day with the support of Spanish fashion

The House of the book joins the celebrations of Book Day of April 23, 2012 with the attractive claim of "Reading is fashionable" and that is why it is promoting exclusive illustrations made by Armand Bassi, Adolfo Domínguez, José Zambrano and Roberto Verino in stores. They are four of the great Spanish fashion designers who have shown their personal vision of reading in their creations. In the image you can see the contribution of Adolfo Domínguez with that physical book with a bookmark carried by a young fashion lover.

The goal is to be part of the windows of the 37 stores of Casa del Libro throughout Spain. They can also be found on their website.

According to the latest data from the barometer of reading habits, published by the Federation of Publishers Guilds of Spain, more than half of Spaniards over 14 read in their free time and up to 29% of Spaniards read all or almost everyday. I think promoting the habit of reading among children is essential so any excuse is good to shop around the Casa del Libro to see this initiative or others that are also encouraging and that we will comment soon.

The aim of the store is that in addition to celebrating Book Day, a tribute to Tagus, the digital book reader of the Casa del Libro, of which we have been talking for a long time in Peques and More, is made.

La Casa del Libro is a chain of bookstores with an extensive catalog with 1,500,000 printed titles. In addition to 60,000 in digital format. And is that the edition of electronic books in Spain had a growth of 38% in the year 2011 and I think the only thing he will do is grow.

I think that soon the least will be going to bookstores to find the book, which we will buy comfortably from home, I think what will succeed is the promotion of the experience of reading with specific promotions such as this one or others performing with the presence of authors in the bookstore.
