Logan LaPlante: a home-educated child who proposes us to think differently about education

Logan LaPlante is a 13-year-old boy whom his mother took out of school when he was nine; since then his family has taken the reins of the education of Logan and his brother. But best of all, he is building his future with a very active participation in the knowledge, skills and abilities he acquires.

In this 11-minute video that you must watch, he tells us about the expectations that adults sometimes place on children, and how they especially want to be happy with what they are and what they do. You can see how well he expresses himself by speaking in public (better than most of his age, and even many adults), and the knowledge he has about creativity, education, and about 'adventures in nature', since he is passionate about skiing.

Logan works hard in his education, and although he is convinced of the need for the latter, doubt that the conventional educational system allows the necessary happiness for children (also important). He has contributed to the improvement of the design in a wool hat factory, represents famous people in public, and as you can see he has spoken in a TEDx, to send the message about the convenience of everyone starting to think differently about education, to enable children's creativity, wisdom and happiness.

That 'hacker' mentality (mastering what he likes to do) and innovative will take him very far, for sure.
