Craft with children for Valentine's Day: colorful hearts to place in the windows

Today we propose a super simple Valentine's craft for you to do with your children. I've found it in Here come the girl's blog, and also I have thought about how to make a variation in the materials that I think simplifies the process.

You see, for the original idea transparent adhesive paper has been used, I prefer acetate paper, because even when it is flexible, it is more consistent and durable

Materials

  • Black cardboard, flexible acetate paper (or sheets for plasticizing), colored cellophane paper, scissors, glue stick and white glue.

How do we do it

First we cut the cellophane paper and cut it into hearts or flowers; then we cut a double heart about 20 centimeters high with transparent paper, and a black cardboard frame (also double) two centimeters wide, which has the same shape and a slightly larger size.

As I said, we will have cut the transparent heart double, and on one of the sheets we can glue the colored hearts with glue. Then we will place on this, the second heart and stick only on the edges with white tail.

The finish is the black cardboard frames that go over the edge of the hearts, and which (also attached with white glue), cover the board in the transparent paper.

Now we just have to let everything dry and place it with a little zeal in a glass of the house where a lot of natural light enters. The effect is very beautiful.
