A few days ago, my mother sent me one of those thoughtful messages about the family, where an anonymous author shared that there is a period of life in which parents are left without children when they grow up, explaining that grandchildren are the second chance to give all that love again that left their children pending.
That message, which brought me a couple of tears, could clearly capture something that many of us have seen first hand: the immeasurable love that grandparents have for their grandchildren. Therefore, today we want to dedicate a special message and say: thanks dads, for being the best grandparents our children can have.
From parents to grandparents
Since we are young, we have an image and concept about our parents, which is gradually evolving over time and as we grow. And then you have your own children, and you witness an impressive transformation in them: become grandparents.

Thank you parents, for being the best grandparents
Now that we have our own children, finally we can understand all those things that at the time they did for us when we were little. They always watched over us, took care of us, fed, dressed, educated and raised, until we reached an age and maturity in which we were able to do it for ourselves.
Now that they are grandparents and we know what it means to have children, we recognize and value even more everything they do for them. Because although those times in which we depended on you have remained in our own childhood, they have never abandoned us. Unlike, follow the pending of us, and now also, of our children. And for that we thank them.
Thank you, for showing us that the love of the family is something that has no end, and that it does not divide as it increases, but multiplies. The love they give their grandchildren is unique and special, like no other.
Thank you, for following the occurrences of our children, allowing us to see that within you a child still lives, which comes out again when our children play and have conversations about life with you. Seeing that glow in their eyes when being with them, is something that nothing in the world can match.

Thank you, because although grandchildren are not your responsibility, sometimes they ask us to "borrow" and give us small moments of rest. But what we really appreciate about that, is that they dedicate spaces for them, because that time they spend with them is worth gold, since it is time for love that nests in the memory and will remain forever in their hearts and memory.
Thanks also for your parenting tips. Because now we understand that nobody is born knowing how to be a father, and at the time you also did the best you could. Now they share valuable lessons about life and they try to teach us with their experience what is really important: that our children are happy and loved.
