Highlights in Babies and more: April 5-11

Today Monday, as every week, we bring you a summary with the highlights of the last seven days in Babies and more.

We start with the tickets of our “Special Infant Feeding”. We have talked about fruits in infant feeding and more specifically about apple and pear.

We have continued with the vegetables, which we started days ago, speaking on this occasion of peas and beans on one side and pumpkin and zucchini on the other.

Without leaving the issue of food, we have also known that the fructose of soft drinks contributes to obesity and in relation to breastfeeding it has been observed that breastfeeding would save almost 1000 lives a year in the United States.

With regard to pregnancy and childbirth, there is good news for those couples who want to have their child at home: The first guide to home birth assistance is presented. We have also dealt with a very interesting topic, when babies do not turn around in the womb and vaginal buttock delivery occurs.

A study tells us that pregnancy would protect against rheumatoid arthritis and pregnant mothers (or not) have been able to continue “playing” to know what their child will look like with Face Research, Make a baby.

As for babies and children, we have talked about Netherton's disease, which makes children “red”, we have continued with the entries about the baby's brain, with the second part of how to help its correct development and we have made a request: No more offensive names for babies.

We have also influenced our role as parents, explaining that playing with children every day is essential for their development, we have explained what to do and what not to do when you do not want to put a coin in children's playgrounds and we have suggested a little debate when asking : Do you have less energy with the second than with the first?

We hope that this week the contents of Babies and more find them interesting, enjoyable and practical. We will work to make it happen.
