Atresmedia media will transmit healthy lifestyle habits to prevent childhood obesity

The government has signed an agreement with the Atresmedia group to include communication actions through messages that promote healthy habits agreed by both partiess.

In this way, the television channels of the group, and their other media, can sensitize and raise awareness about the prevention of childhood obesity.

This action is part of the Comprehensive Plan against Childhood Obesity, also known as “El Estirón”, which has been launched by Atresmedia

It is a way to counteract the advertisements of products with a lot of sugar and fat, since in order to combat this social and health problem it is necessary to collaboration of all the sectors involved.

'The media play a fundamental role, because they are a powerful vehicle for transmitting ideas, attitudes and values'.

The tendency to overweight and obesity is reversible, because it can be modified with small changes in lifestyle: a balanced diet, and the regular practice of physical activity.

In principle, four actions will be launched, which will be broadcast in the Atresmedia media, integrated by Antena 3, laSexta, Neox, Nova, Nitro, Xplora, laSexta3, Onda Cero and Europa FM
